Doctor of Audiology, Nancy C. McMahon, AuD, CCC-A, is the Director and Owner of Center for Better Hearing, LLC in Cromwell and Westbrook. A graduate of the University of Connecticut and Central Michigan University, Dr. McMahon has been a licensed and practicing audiologist for over 25 years. Dr. McMahon is dedicated to addressing the communication needs of the hearing impaired population. Her diagnostic expertise and experience with hearing aids is respected and valued by the medical professionals and patients who have worked with her over the years. Dr. McMahon is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists, and Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Connecticut Academy of Audiology. Dr. McMahon specializes in diagnostic audiology, amplification, and aural rehabilitation.

Dr. Sarah Briggs-Proulx, AuD, CCC-A, Doctor of Audiology, received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut in 2006 and continued at the University to receive her Doctorate of Audiology in May of 2010.  Throughout her graduate career, Dr. Briggs-Proulx had a variety of clinical experiences including an externship and an audiology assistant position at Center for Better Hearing, LLC.  Recently, Dr. Briggs-Proulx spent her clinical residency year at Boston Medical Center, where she worked with a diverse patient population in both diagnostic and rehabilitative capacities.  Dr. Briggs-Proulx provides services to patients in both the Westbrook and Cromwell offices.  She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.  Her experience, knowledge, professionalism, and personality are great assets to Center for Better Hearing, LLC.
